Dolphin pose is a friction starter that lights a bonfire inside of us, asking us to move through resistance and shaky grounds, in order to find more freedom in our body and mind. This is what makes it an ideal portal to explore the yogic practice of tapas—one of the most potent yogic tools, encompassing a spiritual commitment to show up for ourselves no matter what!

In this series, we dive deep into tapas using a thoughtfully curated and exquisitely illustrated workbook of theory, contemplations, poetic inspiration and artistic exercises. The workbook is paired with 5 intelligently sequenced classes, progressing through playful and challenging variations of dolphin pose.

What You receive

  • A 12-minute welcome video explaining the yogic practice of tapas and how to approach this series.

  • 5 x 60-75 minute progressive sequences that break down the in-depth subtle actions, alignment and energetics of variations of forearm postures.

  • 5x 5-10 minute introductory lectures to outline the key principle/theme for practice

  • In-depth workbook with tapas theory, a ‘tapas tracker’, poetic inspiration and artistic exercises so you can apply the practice of tapas as tool for growth and transformation for the rest of your life

Practice 2 | The Spirit Cord

What is your relationship to your own Spirit? This class is themed as an enquiry that helps us to become aware of the deeper motivations and driving forces behind our efforts.



Practice 3 | Persistent Flexibility

The more we cling to our current state the more impossible it becomes to grow beyond it. Persistent flexibility is about being mentally malleable so that we can navigate the ‘friction-field’ with elegance.





Practice 4 | Conscious Challenges

Planting small challenges into our practice means we grow proactively, rather than waiting for life's lessons to wake us up!
